GOLF
JUNE 13-17, 2022
Receive instruction from Albany Golf Academy’s Jon Hearn who has a proven track record of developing young talent in the golf industry. Participants can compare their golf games against the existing Albany Golf Academy students and experience daily life of an Albany Golf Academy so participants can see how the program benefits their overall game. Participants will also gain a full understanding of how to make it to the college golf level.
TENNIS
JUNE 13-17, 2022
Albany Academy’s tennis summer camp program offers athletes personalized instruction, conditioning, and guidance as they improve in all aspects of the game. Experience training under an expert team of coaches and staff including Albany Tennis Academy’s Directors of Tennis, Richele LeSaldo and Glenn Weiner. Players of all levels will benefit from the PlaySight smart court technology and from our intense training program while having fun with other camp participants.
MUSIC
JUNE 13-17, 2022
The music summer camp gives young performers, composers, and producers the opportunity to learn from industry professionals and create recordings at the Music Academy Studio at Windsor School, as well as The Sanctuary, the world-class recording studio along Albany Marina. Throughout the camp, participants will take part in seminars and practical sessions, improving in all areas of their musicianship. Camp participants will focus on developing skills in music technology, such as recording, mixing and producing music.
ROWING
JUNE 13-17, 2022
Working with top coaches from around the sport, campers will develop their technical abilities while strengthening their mental approach to the sport of rowing. Participants will spend hours on the beautiful waters of Lake Cunningham where they will hone their skills and focus on becoming effective boat-movers. Campers will also have the opportunity to train in Windsor’s state-of-the-art gym using weights and cardiovascular equipment including brand new ergometers. Campers will gain valuable experience both on water and dryland training in competitive and recreational environments. Campers must be proficient swimmers.
BUSINESS
JULY 4-7, 2022
The NEXUS School of Business is pleased to present its first summer camp offering. Campers will engage in daily challenges and activities that will help them gain an understanding of various aspects of business, including entrepreneurship, finance, presentation, and more. The business camp is open to day campers only.
MARINE BIOLOGY
AUGUST 1-5, 2022
In partnership with the PADI Seal Team program, the marine biology summer camp is for young aspiring scuba divers looking for an introductory and action-packed five-day dive course. Student divers will complete an exciting series of AquaMissions while learning to scuba dive in a pool environment with our resident PADI Dive Instructor and Albany Marine Biology Academy Director, Rachel Miller. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, however, campers must be comfortable in the water and be able to swim 25 meters.
